16th DLSU Arts Congress

This arts congress seeks to explore the intersections of art, memory, and history, and beyond that, to engage with the public audience and the communities the work of the scholars and artists. What practices and interventions are deployed by the humanities and social sciences to extend art to the public sphere?  How does art serve as a reactionary agent to nurture public memory, or question it, and convey the truth of history?

The 16th DLSU Arts Congress (DAC) is organized by the DLSU Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI), College of Liberal Arts (CLA), College of Computer Studies Assistant Dean for Research and Advanced Studies (CCS ADRAS), Cultural Arts Office (CAO), The Museum, The Libraries, the CLA Graduate Student Council (CLA GSC), the Office of the Associate Provost, Commission on National Issues and Concerns (CONIC), and the University Student Government (USG). The organizing team includes the Department of Literature, the Department of Filipino, Southeast Asian Research Hub and Center (SEARCH), Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center (BNSCWC), the Research and Grant Management Office (RMGO), and Cultura (Literature student organization). Technical assistance is given by Team Communication (TeamComm).
