MICHAEL M. COROZA

Si Michael M. Coroza ay Full Professor at kasalukuyang Tagapangulo ng Kagawaran ng Filipino sa School of Humanities ng Ateneo de Manila University. Nagtuturo ng Panitikang Filipino, Malikhaing Pagsulat (Tula), at Pagsasaling Pampanitikan, hawak niya dito ang Rev. Fr. Horacio de la Costa, S.J. Professorial Chair in History and Humanities mula noong 2012. Makata, mananaysay, at tagasaling pampanitikan, nagkamit siya ng mga pangunahing gantimpala at pagkilala mula sa Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), at National Book Development Board (NBDB). Tinanggap niya mula sa Kamahalan ng Thailand ang SEAWRITE Award noong 2007. Awtor siya ng mga aklat ng tulang Dili’t Dilim (1997), Mga Lagot na Liwanag (2002), May Di-Mawaglit na Awit (2021), at ng mga aklat-pambatang  Imbisibol Man ang Tatay (2009), Ang mga Kahon ni Kalon (2010), Ang mga Lambing ni Lolo Ding (2012), at Nawawala si Muningning (2015). Inilathala ng KWF at NCCA ang salin niya sa Filipino mulang orihinal na Español ng La Revolucion Filipina (Ang Rebolusyong Filipino, 2015) ni Apolinario Mabini at Junto al Pasig (Sa May Ilog Pasig, 2016) ni Jose Rizal. Tagapagtaguyod ng pagtatanghal ng tula at isang mambabalagtas, kinatawan niya ang Filipinas sa 10^th Kuala Lumpur World Poetry Reading sa Malaysia (2004), Korea-ASEAN Poetry Festival sa Indonesia (2011), Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival sa United Arab Emirates (2018), Neilson Hays Bangkok Literature Festival sa Thailand (2019), at Payakumbuh Poetry Festival sa Indonesia (2022). Siya ang M sa MTV (Mike Coroza, Teo Antonio, Vim Nadera) ng Panulaang Filipino na nagtanghal ng Balagtasan sa mahahalagang okasyong pangkultura sa loob at labas ng Filipinas mula noong 2004 hanggang 2014. Nasa ikalawang termino na siya sa pagganap bilang tagapangulo ng Unyon ng mga Manunulat sa Pilipinas (UMPIL). 

ARNULFO P. AZCARRAGA

Arnulfo P. Azcarraga is a Full Professor at the College of Computer Science, a University Fellow, and a Pioneer Faculty Member at the Laguna Campus of De La Salle University. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from INP Grenoble, France. He has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in theoretical Computer Science and Intelligent Systems. His research interests include text and music mining, as well as various applications of Artificial Neural Networks and Machine Learning, including Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). While on research leave from DLSU, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, working on the very large Programme for Research into Intelligent Systems (PRIS). At DLSU, he has been Graduate Director, Vice Dean, Dean, Associate Vice Chancellor for External Relations, and Vice Chancellor for Research. He was also the first Executive Vice President of what was then De La Salle Canlubang. He is a member of the AI Council of the Department of Science and Technology. He is also a member of Mensa.

JENNY LOGICO-CRUZ

Jenny Logico-Cruz is a director and performance-maker with over 15 years of experience in the field. Her works have been featured locally and abroad including Manila, New York City, Honolulu, San Francisco, and London. She has also collaborated with notable arts organizations and cultural institutions such as The Cultural Center of the Philippines, St. Scholastica’s College of Music, The National Asian American Theater Company (New York, USA), The New York International Fringe Festival, and The V&A Museum- Theatre and Performance Department (London, UK). She is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Langgam Performance Troupe, a Manila-based contemporary performance company focusing on experimental, process-based, and practice-as-research works. Jenny holds a BA in Literature at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines, and a Master’s degree in London’s Theatre and Performance (Viewing, Making, Writing) at the University of Roehampton (London, UK) where she received a Distinction Award. She is currently a faculty at the Theater Arts Department of De La Salle- College of St. Benilde (Manila, Philippines).

Amado Anthony Mendoza III

Amado Anthony G. Mendoza III is assistant professor of Southeast Asian literature and creative writing at the Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature, University of the Philippines-Diliman. His research interests include Indonesian and Vietnamese  literature, cultural Cold War in Southeast Asia, and translation studies. His works have appeared in Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), JONUS, Akda: The Asian Journal of Literature, Culture, and Performance, Asian Books Blog, Likhaan, and World Literature Today. He is the co-editor of Ulirat: Best Contemporary Stories in Translation from the Philippines (Gaudy Boy, 2021) and Destination: SEA 2050 A.D (Penguin Random House SEA, 2022). He has translated the works of Eka Kurniawan and Wiji Thukul into Filipino. His first novel Aklat ng mga Naiwan [Book of the Damned], to be translated by Kristine Ong Muslim, was one of the recipients of the 2023 PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant. He is also a member of the seams, a band of translators of contemporary Southeast Asian literature.
