TEKNO-SINING: Mga Likhang Pananaw sa Pagbabago
ART EXHIBITION
June 18 – July 4, 2024
6th Floor, The Learning Commons, Henry Sy Sr. Hall
De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines
The visual arts exhibition TEKNO-SINING: Mga Likang Pananaw sa Pagbabago showcases a diverse collection of original digital artworks created by students from De La Salle University and other colleges and universities. Each work shows the participating artists’ own interpretation and depiction of the theme of the 17th DLSU Arts Congress, “Tekno-Sining: The Work of Art in the Age of Digital Reproduction / Tekno-Sining: Ang Likhang Sining sa Panahon ng Reproduksyong Digital” and its subthemes.
The artworks on exhibit were the result of the artists’ thoughts, inspiration, and experience, with technology incorporated into their artistic style and processes, bridging the gap between traditional and digital art.
This year’s Arts Congress aims to spark conversations about the relationship between art and technology, as well as to encourage artistic creativity by utilizing technology. In the twenty-first century, the convergence of art, culture, media, design, science, and technology has resulted in new ways of viewing reality.
